About us

Raising Voters is the flagship program of We Are Voters (WAV), the nonpartisan nonprofit that exists to educate, empower, and engage the next generation of voters.

It was started by Kim Moffat a decade-long television professional who saw a lack of civics education as an opportunity to increase voter turnout. After speaking with active and non-active voters around the country, as well as leaders of some of the most prominent GOTV organizations, she developed a first-of-its-kind civics education program that allows WAV to be a value-add to so many of these groups.
