State Election Information

  • In-Person: 29 days before Election Day

    By Mail: Postmarked 29 days before Election Day

    Online: 29 days before Election Day

  • Unavailable in the state

  • Photo ID required

    If an ID cannot be presented, a voter may cast a provisional ballot that will be counted if an ID can be presented within ten days.

  • Per vote411.org: Time off to vote is subject to the employer, there is no requirement for employers to grant time off to vote for employees.

  • Begins: 28 days before election

    Ends: 12:00 PM, day before election

    (Note: Times and locations vary, so check your polling place to see where/when you can cast an early vote)

  • Absentee/mail voting is available for voters who are eligible through the state’s list of qualified “excuses.”
