State Election Information

  • In-Person: Election Day registration is available

    By Mail: Received 15 business days before Election Day

    Online: N/A

  • Same-day registration is permitted on Election Day.

  • No ID required

  • Per vote411.org: Time off to vote is subject to the employer, there is no requirement for employers to grant time off to vote for employees.

  • Begins: As soon as absentee ballots are ready (usually 30-45 days before election)

    Ends: 3 business days before election (unless voter has an acceptable excuse)

    (Note: Times and locations vary, so check your polling place to see where/when you can cast an early vote)

  • "No-excuse" absentee/mail voting is available.
