Unless you are voting for the first time in a federal election, are an inactive voter or are casting a provisional or challenged ballot.

Per vote411.org: Voters employed in mechanical, manufacturing or mercantile businesses are allowed time off during the first two hours after the polls have opened only if an application for absence has been submitted.

Begins: 17 days before election for state elections; 10 days before election for presidential or state primaries.
Ends: 4 days before election
