ID may be required for first-time voters who registered by mail and didn’t include ID or address verification.

Per vote411.org: Employers must grant employees from one to two hours paid leave to vote, unless polls are open two consecutive hours before or after regular working shift. Employees must request this time prior to Election Day, and the employer may specify when during the working day employees may take time off.
