Per vote411.org: Employers must grant employees up to three hours paid leave to vote, unless polls are open three hours before or after regular working shift. If you live equal to or less than 2 miles away from your polling place, you are granted 1 hour of civil leave. Greater than 2 and equal to or less than 10 miles grants the employee 2 hours. Greater than 10 miles grants the employee 3 hours.
