In Person: Before Election Day, the last day to register is the last meeting of the Supervisors of the Checklist. The supervisors meet once, 6-13 days before Election Day. Check your town/city’s website or call your clerk's office for the date, time, and location of the Supervisor's meeting.
By Mail: Received between 6 and 13 days before Election Day, depending on which town you live in

Same-day registration is permitted on Election Day.

ID may be requested
Photo ID will be required, unless a poll worker is able to identify the voter. Without an ID or identifying poll worker, or if a voter’s ID is challenged, they can sign an affidavit that will include a photo taken of the voter by the poll worker.

Per vote411.org: Time off to vote is subject to the employer, there is no requirement for employers to grant time off to vote for employees.

Absentee/mail voting is available for voters who are eligible through the state’s list of qualified “excuses.”
