By Mail: Postmarked 25 days before Election Day. If the postmark is missing or unclear, the application will still be processed if it is received 20 days before Election Day

No ID required
North Carolina passed a voter ID law, which was blocked by a federal district court. Currently, no ID is needed.

Per vote411.org: Time off to vote is subject to the employer, there is no requirement for employers to grant time off to vote for employees.

Same-day registration is permitted during early voting.

Begins: 3rd Thursday before election
Ends: 3:00 PM Saturday before election
(Note: Times and locations vary, so check your polling place to see where/when you can cast an early vote)

"No-excuse" absentee/mail voting is available.
