State Election Information

  • In Person: 30 days before Election Day

    By Mail: Postmarked 30 days before Election Day

  • Unavailable in the state

  • Photo ID will be requested

    If a photo ID can’t be provided, voters can sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration if they’re able to provide a document confirming their name and address (e.g., utility bill).

  • Paid

    Per vote411.org: Employers must grant employees paid time off if they don't have two consecutive hours outside of working hours to do so on Election Day or during early voting. 

  • Begins: 17 days before election

    Ends: 4 days before election

    (Note: Times and locations vary, so check your polling place to see where/when you can cast an early vote)

  • Absentee/mail voting is available for voters who are eligible through the state’s list of qualified “excuses.”
