State Election Information

  • In-Person: Election Day registration available

    By Mail: No deadline but the state recommends it being postmarked by the Friday before Election Day, so your name will be on the rolls

    Online: No deadline but the state recommends it being done by the Friday before Election Day, so your name will be on the rolls

  • Same-day registration is permitted on Election Day.

  • No ID required

    ID is not required unless a voter registered without proving ID at that time.

  • Per vote411.org: Time off to vote is subject to the employer, there is no requirement for employers to grant time off to vote for employees.

  • Begins: 45 days before election

    Ends: 5:00 PM, day before election

    (Note: Times and locations vary, so check your polling place to see where/when you can cast an early vote)

  • This is a vote-by-mail state.
